CBIZ has an immediate opening for a Retiree Benefits Analyst in our Uniontown, OH office. The position’s primary duty will be to assist in the administration of Retiree Medical and Life benefits, but some assistance will be given to administering pension benefits.

Primary responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Assist Benefits Administration Department and other internal team members with Retiree Medical/Life related requests.

    • Track/follow through to completion all retiree medical questions and issues.

    • Update participant information on vendor websites.

    • Administer Client benefit programs, processes and procedures.

    • Manage incoming phone calls from Clients.

    • Participate in Client meetings as needed.

  • Assist in the data conversion process and ongoing data maintenance for new and existing Clients.

    • Reconcile Client medical vendor invoices and follow up on any discrepancies.

    • Assist in the creation and documentation of new and existing processes and procedures.

  • Coordinate Open Enrollment process for Retiree Medical participants.

    • Receive and process completed participant enrollment paperwork and check for completeness.

  • Miscellaneous mailings and projects as they occur.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable about Premium Reimbursement Account processing

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and Access

  • Availability to work extended hours as needed

  • Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred 

  • 3 years of relevant experience, preferably medical benefits in a deadline-driven environment (i.e. administration/coordination of client benefits such of vendor reconciliation and reporting)   

  • Very strong attention to detail; multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

  • Proficient use of all applicable technology, especially Microsoft Office Software

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
