EFL ASSOCIATES is a management consulting firm specializing in retained executive search. Our firm is one of the largest and best established recruiting firms of its type in the country, employing multiple consultants and offering the strategic advantage of a full-time professional research staff to support search activities from offices in Kansas City, Denver and St. Louis. 

EFL Associates is currently searching for talented Executive Search Intern in our Kansas City Missouri office. The Intern will work side by side with EFL Associates executive search consultants and research teams. 

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Gain exposure to retained executive search through direct access with experienced consultants and research teams to learn the retained search practice while immediately contributing to current search projects

  • Practically apply classroom learning to a professional business environment

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Perform initial research to identify best sources to recruit qualified candidates for specific retained search projects

  • Maintain EFL proprietary database

  • Provides support to research team for candidate scheduling and logistics

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the business field

  • A cumulative GPA of at least 3.00

  • Previous internships in a professional services environment preferred

  • Experience working on teams both as a leader and participant

  • Demonstrated leadership in student or other organizations is a plus

Personal Characteristics

  • Possess and apply a solid understanding of the professional work environment

  • Professional in appearance and manner

  • Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients and CBIZ

  • Effectively communicates both in written and verbal
