The National Learning & Development Coordinator will serve as a member of the National Learning & Development team and will work under the direction of the National Learning & Development Manager. Will assist in the coordination of national learning and development sessions and perform other related tasks and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • National Learning and Development Sessions
    • Coordination of registration process (build  registration forms, reconcile participant registrations, send reminders, run reports)
    • Create surveys for training sessions
    • Create and format documents in Microsoft Excel and Word (agendas, packing lists, sign-in sheets, name badges, technical review forms, welcome documents)
    • Create and modify PowerPoint presentations
    • Assist in the tracking of RFP responses and documents
    • Assist in the research of restaurant and social event venues
    • Coordinate ground transportation
    • Assist in the coordination of local Kansas City sessions (meeting room reservations, room setup, catering, onsite support)
    • Packing and shipping of session supplies to training sites.
    • Coordinate printing of learning materials
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as necessary
  • Assist in the administration of Professional Development programs
    • Track participant nominations
    • Coordinate participant interviews
    • Coordinate 360 process with participants and external vendor
    • Assignment tracking and follow up
    • Manage participant directories
  • Assist in administration of learning management system
  • Provide administrative support to the National Learning & Professional Development Team
  • Work on special projects as assigned by the National Learning & Professional Development team
  • This is an evolving position and responsibilities will be assigned as deemed necessary and or required. 

Essential Skills:

  • Able to manage deadlines, work efficiently on multiple projects and prioritize assignments as necessary
  • Computer proficiency beyond that achieved of an entry level person; fluency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, multi-task and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are critical
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, company and personnel information
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed
  • Ability to lift, load and unload boxes of notebooks, materials and supplies, up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required: Bachelor's degree or appropriate equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Corporate work environment
